Volleyball Recap: La Costa Canyon Mavericks vs. Pacific Ridge Firebirds
La Costa Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacific Ridge Firebirds.
La Costa Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pacific Ridge, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
La Costa Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against University City on the 16th. As for Pacific Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mission Vista on the 16th.
