Baseball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Sports Leadership & Management fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against iMater Charter on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 8-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against iMater Charter this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 back in March.

Sports Leadership & Management has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for iMater Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sports Leadership & Management will head out to take on Mater Bay Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for iMater Charter, they will take on Coral Reef at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
