Buckeye Local won the last time they faced Bridgeport and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Buckeye Local was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-9, 25-18.

Jenna DelVecchio paced Buckeye Local's offense, picking up 11 kills. DelVecchio were helped by Karlie Lander and Samantha Westfall, who contributed ten assists each. Lander was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Buckeye Local's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Bridgeport, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Buckeye Local didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Indian Creek on the 11th. As for Bridgeport, they will square off against Shadyside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
