Football Recap: Bishop Kearney Takes a Loss

The Bishop Kearney Kings were just a hair shy of victory on Monday and fell 14-13 to the East Rochester Bombers. The loss was the Kings' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bishop Kearney fell to 10-1. As for East Rochester, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season.

Bishop Kearney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Rochester, they are taking a road trip to square off against Batavia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bombers 7.7, the Blue Devils 7.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
