Basketball Game Preview: Lehman Catholic Cavaliers vs. Botkins Trojans

The Lehman Catholic Cavaliers will take on the Botkins Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lehman Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Jackson Center as they made off with a 60-37 victory. The win was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Meanwhile, Botkins got the win against Miami Valley Christian Academy on Saturday by a conclusive 64-41.

Botkins' victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Lehman Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.

Lehman Catholic skirted past Botkins 33-30 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
