It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Manchester had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Gainesville Cardinals 55-35. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Rayne Wright was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Madison Smith, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards.

Manchester pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points on average over those games. As for Gainesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-13.

Coming up, Manchester will welcome Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Robinson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Manchester surely won't give up without a fight. Gainesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
