There's no place like home for San Diego, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the King Brahmas a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vaqueros also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.
Angel Bowen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base.
In other batting news, Jayson Garcia was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
