Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Frontenac

Frontenac entered their tilt with Prairie View on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Buffalos.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Frontenac got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 21-25, 25-17.

Frontenac was led to victory by Lakyn Sullivan and Laynee Shay. Sullivan had 11 digs, while Shay had six digs and four assists. Those four assists gave Shay a new career-high. Blakely Niegsch also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Frontenac's victory bumped their record up to 24-14-1. As for Prairie View, they dropped their record down to 5-26-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Frontenac has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Girard on the 20th. Prairie View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
