It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Nazareth Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Argo Argonauts 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Roadrunners, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Nazareth Academy, bringing their record up to 30-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Argo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-22 record this season.

Nazareth Academy will challenge Oak Lawn at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Roadrunners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. Argo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
