Volleyball Recap: Johnston County Home Educators Comes Up Short on the Road Against Southeastern Homeschool

Johnston County Home Educators had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Southeastern HomeSchool Cardinals on Saturday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Johnston County Home Educators was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Southeastern HomeSchool's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14, 25-22.

Southeastern HomeSchool now has a winning record of 3-2.

Johnston County Home Educators will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Neuse Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on September 15. After both having extra time off, Southeastern HomeSchool and Fayetteville HomeSchool will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
