Football Recap: Richwoods Takes a Loss

Richwoods lost against Mahomet-Seymour back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 63-14. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 89th).

This is the second loss in a row for Richwoods and nudges their season record down to 1-7-1. As for Mahomet-Seymour, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

As of now, neither Richwoods nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
