Soccer Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Faith Christian finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of the Greenville Christian Academy Knights by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Faith Christian have lost by just one goal.

Faith Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Greenville Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will square off against Calvary Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hilltop Christian at 5:30 p.m. on April 8. Hilltop Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Greenville Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
