It was a good run, but Bloomington unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Champaign Central Maroons. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Purple Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Champaign Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11-1 record this season.

While Bloomington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
