Baseball Recap: Cherryvale Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cherryvale's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Parsons Vikings on Thursday. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Cherryvale's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Parsons, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cherryvale will head out to challenge Fredonia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Parsons, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Mary's-Colgan on Monday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
