Game recap: Powered by Tintorri and Copeland Bennett high school football team defeats Ridgeview Academy

Tommy Tintorri ran for three touchdowns and Caleb Copeland added three as well as Bennett (Colo.) bested Ridgeview Academy (Watkins, Colo.) 40-12 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Copeland touchdown run in the first quarter, the Tigers led 34-0 at the half.

Bennett expanded its lead to 40 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Copeland.

The Tigers went into the matchup giving up only 5.7 points per game. The 12 points that the Rams ended with were right around their average of 12.8 coming into the game.



The defeat comes as a step back for Ridgeview Academy, which notched a 14-12 victory over Sheridan in its previous outing.

Ridgeview Academy (2-5) goes up against Manual in a 2A Colorado game matchup next week, while Bennett (6-1) locks horns with Kent Denver also in a 2A Colorado game.
