New Bern and J.H. Rose are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2020, but likely not for long. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rampants at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, J.H. Rose earned a 3-1 win over Havelock on Thursday. Given J.H. Rose's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Havelock are ranked 268th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

J.H. Rose is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matches. As for New Bern, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-1.
