Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carlmont). They never let the Sequoia Ravens onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The score was close at the half, but the Scots pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Carlmont pushed their record up to 7-5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Sequoia, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-1.

Carlmont will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Burlingame at 4:00 p.m. As for Sequoia, they will face off against Menlo-Atherton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Menlo-Atherton's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Sequoia's offense will have their work cut out for them.
