Softball Recap: Madison-Grant Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Madison-Grant proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by eight) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the North Miami Warriors 11-9. The win was familiar territory for the Argylls, who have now won six matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on Cayleigh Stitt, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Demie Havens also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Madison-Grant's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for North Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
