Game recap: St. Helena High School Football Team takes down Willits

ST. HELENA, Calif. - St. Helena (Calif.) jumped out to an early lead against Willits (Calif.) and never looked back on the way to a 20-8 victory on Saturday.

The Saints put up six points in the opening frame. St. Helena scored on a touchdown run by Danny Brink.

After taking the lead on a Brink touchdown run in the first quarter, SH led 13-0 at the half.

Kailer Collicott played well for the Wolverines. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown.

The Saints' standout player in the win was Sebastian Segura. The junior running back ran for one touchdown and kicked two extra points. He has now scored seven touchdowns on the season.

Willits' lone touchdown came on a 6-yard run by Collicott in the fourth quarter.



St. Helena came into the game allowing 13.0 points per game.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 27-14 win for SH.

The win was a nice bounce back for the Saints, which lost to Fort Bragg last week, 22-21. The defeat comes as a step back for Willits, which notched a 58-0 victory over Lower Lake in its previous outing.
