Volleyball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Davis Darts came up short against the Lone Peak Knights and fell 3-1. The Darts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lone Peak scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 19-25, 25-21.

Davis' offense was headlined by Luke McKnight and Chase Valentine, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Chase Finlinson and his 15 assists.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lone Peak, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Davis will venture away from home to challenge Morgan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lone Peak, they will host Syracuse at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
