Soccer Game Preview: Northridge vs. Greeley West

The Northridge Grizzlies are taking a road trip to square off against the Greeley West Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greeley West took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Northridge, who comes in off a win.

While Northridge fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They put the hurt on Fort Morgan with a sharp 7-0 victory on Thursday. Samantha Jackson was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Greeley West fell victim to Mountain View and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Lions. The loss was the Spartans' first of the season.

Northridge took their win against Greeley West when the teams last played back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 9-0. Will Northridge repeat their success, or does Greeley West have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
