Basketball Game Preview: Basic Wolves vs. Boulder City Eagles

The Basic Wolves just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Boulder City Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Basic, who comes in off a win.

Basic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Durango with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 57-41.

Meanwhile, Boulder City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Southeast Career Tech by a score of 35-33 on Tuesday.

Basic's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Boulder City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Basic didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Boulder City in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 35-29 victory. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
