Texico has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Wolverines will host the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Texico and 27 for Jal dating back to last season.

Texico made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tularosa, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wolverines fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Friday.

Texico saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Reese, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Jal played against Loving on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Texico's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Jal, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.
