Baseball Recap: Pine Grove Takes a Loss

Pine Grove suffered their biggest loss since May 25, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 11-2 to the New Albany Bulldogs. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Pine Grove's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for New Albany, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Pine Grove Panthers face off against Byers Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Albany will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tishomingo County at 2:00 p.m. on March 29th.
