Abby Bowman was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 22 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Bowman wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Daylann Patterson, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

West Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Randleman, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
