Webster Schroeder has gone 9-1 against Fairport recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fairport came up short against Penfield on Monday and fell 9-4.

Alaina Nunez and Lizzie Roessel did some serious damage despite the final result: Nunez went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Roessel went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Webster Schroeder's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Fairport, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Webster Schroeder skirted past Fairport 4-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
