Football Recap: King Piles Up the Points Against Agricultural Science

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only King walked away with it. They blew past the Agricultural Science Cyclones 46-6 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jaguars needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

King found their leader in sophomore Jamar Lewis, who rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and one score. The Jaguars are 6-1 when Lewis posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. Jermaine Whitfield was another key player, rushing for 75 yards.

King was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

King's record now sits at 6-4. As for Agricultural Science, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2.

As of now, neither King nor the Cyclones have any future games scheduled.
