Baseball Recap: Schaeffer Academy Takes a Loss

Schaeffer Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander Superlarks, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Superlarks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 back in April.

Schaeffer Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Visser, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Brody Stahosky also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Schaeffer Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Schaeffer Academy has already played their next game (against Alden-Conger), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mabel-Canton on the 13th.
