The Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders will venture away from home to take on the Hannan Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkersburg Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season.

Parkersburg Catholic is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-61 heartbreaker at the hands of Ritchie County. The match was a 27-27 toss-up at halftime, but the Crusaders couldn't quite close it out.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Leonardo DeAngelo, who to rack up 16 points. Preston Randolph was another key player, on his way to 12 points and four steals.

Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Tri-State HomeSchool out of the water with an 84-33 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-15.

Hannan's win came from a few key players Parkersburg Catholic will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ian Chaffin, who posted 18 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Eli Cade, who earned 15 points.

Hannan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-16 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. Parkersburg Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
