Football Recap: Surrattsville Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Surrattsville's offense. They were beaten by the Douglass Eagles 42-0 on Friday. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Surrattsville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Douglass, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Surrattsville and Douglass will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hornets are set to challenge their familiar foe Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Douglass will square off against rival Crossland at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
