Needham waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wellesley Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Needham can attribute much of their success to Eleanore Alley, who had four digs and four aces. That's the most aces Alley has posted over her last six matchups. Daniela Hatziiliades also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Needham's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Wellesley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Coming up, Needham will host Natick at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellesley, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Wayland on the 26th.
