Baseball Recap: Indiana Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, Indiana rose to the challenge on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ambridge Bridgers a 1-0 shutout. This was payback for the Little Indians, who suffered a 14-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Indiana's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Ambridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11-1 record this season.

Indiana will be playing in front of their home fans against Belle Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Little Indians 2, the Leopards 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Ambridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
