Needles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles 87-41. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.
Needles was led to victory by Holden Jones and Luke Mills. Jones shot 7-for-12 from deep and dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Mills went 10 of 25 on his way to 25 points along with seven boards and seven steals. Mills' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darrell Russell, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Needles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Needles' victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.3 points. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
