Herndon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the George C. Marshall Statesmen. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win last Monday.

Herndon pushed their record up to 16-6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for George C. Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.
