Soccer Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Oakland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverdale Warriors. The shutout was out of character for Oakland seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Oakland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-3. As for Riverdale, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-2.

Oakland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverdale, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Rockvale on the 6th.
