Volleyball Recap: Satanta Comes Up Short

Satanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pawnee Heights Tigers. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Tigers since Tuesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Satanta sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-19.

Satanta's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pawnee Heights, their win bumped their record up to 7-15-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Satanta will head out to challenge South Gray on Tuesday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pawnee Heights, after both having extra time off, they and Ashland will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday.
