Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. V.R. Eaton Eagles

The Trinity Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the V.R. Eaton Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity has given up an average of 58.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Trinity is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Wednesday. They came up short against Frisco, falling 71-45.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, V.R. Eaton beat Plano West 50-44 on Tuesday.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for V.R. Eaton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Trinity barely slipped by V.R. Eaton in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, winning 38-37. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
