Basketball Recap: Harvest Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Harvest Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Coram Deo Academy on Saturday. The Harvest Christian Academy Saints had to suffer through a 80-41 loss at the hands of the Coram Deo Academy Lions. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coram Deo Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Langat, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Langat a new career-high. Nathan Park was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Harvest Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Coram Deo Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Harvest Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victory Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for the Lions, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Lions at 4:00 p.m. The Lions are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
