Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Thomas Aquinas walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Hollywood Hills Spartans on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Kamaal Medina paced St. Thomas Aquinas' offense, picking up ten kills. Medina got some help from Elijah Lam and his 34 assists. Jordan Diaz controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the defeat, Hollywood Hills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Christian Hernandez had 14 digs.

St. Thomas Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Hollywood Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

St. Thomas Aquinas has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Archbishop McCarthy on the 29th. Hollywood Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
