Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Preble Shawnee). They snuck past the Arcanum Trojans with a 58-53 win on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Arrows, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Arcanum still got an impressive performance from Landon Flatter, who went 9 for 19 on his way to 23 points. With that strong performance, Flatter is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Cameron Ball was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

The victory got Preble Shawnee back to even at 2-2. As for Arcanum, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Preble Shawnee and Franklin Monroe will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin Monroe's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Preble Shawnee's offense will have their work cut out for them. Arcanum will take on Dixie in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
