West Campus came tearing into Saturday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Hughson Huskies. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (63-60) West Campus actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 17-15.

Cam Tudor paced West Campus' offense, picking up seven kills. Tudor got some help from Heather Yim and her ten assists. Finally, Tudor was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

West Campus' victory bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Hughson, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

Looking ahead, West Campus will take on Fairfield at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hughson, they will take on Vintage in a tournament on Saturday.
