Liberty waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles. That's two games straight that the Hurricanes have won by just one run.

Franklin Pichardo was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Justin Frey was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Liberty pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Nazareth Area, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.

Coming up, Liberty will face off against Parkland at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hurricanes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. Nazareth Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
