O'Fallon is 8-2 against Granite City since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. O'Fallon knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Granite City likes a good challenge.

O'Fallon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Alton a 9-0 shutout. O'Fallon's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Their offense was hitting Alton from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Tess Calhoun led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Granite City's game on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past Quincy 4-0. Granite City found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: four Granite City players were handed yellow cards.

Granite City is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matches. As for O'Fallon, their win bumped their record up to 17-1-1.

Everything went O'Fallon's way against Granite City when the teams last played back in April, as O'Fallon made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
