Limon waltzed into their game  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by  a  28-7 margin over the Wray Eagles. Considering the Badgers have won six matchups by more than 20  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jacob Jaklich had a dynamite game, rushing for 74 yards and a pair of  scores. What's more,  he posted two  rushing touchdowns, the most he's  had since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Camdyn Tacha, who gained 92 total yards and a touchdown.
 Limon didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Wray to a completion percentage of just 47.8%. The Badgers have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.64 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.64 in their last three games.
 Limon's defense didn't let  Austin Collins, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for five sacks. In that department,  Dreison Davis was the leader with 2.5. Limon got some further help from  Liam Yoder: he picked up  1.5  sacks and made nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Limon's record now sits at 6-1. As for Wray, their  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Limon is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Burlington  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Badgers 10, the Cougars 15) so any  points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Wray will  face off against  rival Yuma  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
