Ten must be L.C. Bird's lucky number: they beat Hermitage with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Skyhawks beat the Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-7 on Thursday.

The win made it two in a row for L.C. Bird and bumps their season record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hermitage, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. L.C. Bird will host Colonial Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hermitage, they will take on Godwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
