Soccer Recap: Viewmont Comes Up Short

Viewmont fought the good fight in their overtime match against Brighton on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Brighton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 0-0 on September 2nd.

Viewmont has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Brighton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
