Volleyball Recap: Montclair Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Montclair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Verona Hillbillies. The Mounties were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hillbillies from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Montclair sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-12.

Montclair's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Verona, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Montclair has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West Orange on the 30th. As for Verona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Millburn on the 30th.
