While Edsel Ford's win against Lincoln Park wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Thunderbirds beat the Railsplitters by a goal, winning 3-2. Given Edsel Ford's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Lincoln Park are ranked 262nd) , the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Edsel Ford's victory bumped their record up to 20-1-2. As for Lincoln Park, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12-1.
