Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Penn-Mansfield). They claimed a resounding 76-42 victory over the Cowanesque Valley Indians. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Indians are ranked 673rd), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Penn-Mansfield got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Shaw out in front who went 9 of 15 en route to 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Shaw is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Harer, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks.

North Penn-Mansfield was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in three consecutive games.

North Penn-Mansfield's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Cowanesque Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

North Penn-Mansfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-50 win against Towanda on the 14th. As for Cowanesque Valley, they will challenge North Penn-Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
