Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop Montgomery Knights vs. Bishop Amat Lancers

The Bishop Montgomery Knights will venture away from home to take on the Bishop Amat Lancers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Montgomery will be strutting in after a victory while Bishop Amat will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Bishop Montgomery got the win against Cathedral by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Bishop Amat was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Cathedral.

Bishop Amat might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Cathedral: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-22.

Bishop Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Bishop Amat, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Everything went Bishop Montgomery's way against Bishop Amat in their previous meeting back in March, as Bishop Montgomery made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
